Inspxt LLC

Precision inspection that holds the tolerance line

measured once

Inspxt LLC is a precision inspection, dimensional verification and metrology consultancy based at 853 W 760 N, Highland - 84003-3915, United States. Our engineers build gauge programs, acceptance test procedures and quality assurance systems that keep manufactured parts inside specification from first article to full production. The inspection practice

A gauge bench built around evidence, not opinion

Every engagement starts on the surface plate. We measure the part, the process and the instrument, then we write the result down in a form an auditor, a customer or a production engineer can trust. Inspxt LLC works with manufacturers and product teams that need dimensional verification, gauge control and acceptance testing handled by people who read a dial the same way they read a drawing. The consultancy is registered at 853 W 760 N, Highland - 84003-3915, United States, and it serves clients who ship hardware into regulated and high consequence markets.

Six inspection services on the plate

These are the working disciplines Inspxt LLC delivers. Each one carries its own accept criteria, its own records and its own place in a production schedule. The letters are stamped as they come off the bench, not as a tidy series.

HOLD

ADimensional Inspection Programs

We design dimensional inspection plans that translate a print into a set of measurable features, datums and tolerance zones. The program states which instrument touches which feature, how many samples prove the process, and how the result is recorded against the nominal value.

CGauge Calibration Management

Calipers, micrometers, height gauges and dial indicators only tell the truth while they are in calibration. We build the register, set the intervals, and trace each instrument to a reference so a measurement stands up long after the part has shipped.

DAcceptance Test Procedures

Before a product is released we write the acceptance test that proves it conforms. The procedure names the equipment, the environment, the pass and fail limits, and the exact evidence the client keeps after the test is signed.

FFirst Article Inspection

The first article is the argument that a new process can hold the tolerance. We perform the full layout, compare every reported dimension to the drawing, and document where the process sits inside its band so the team knows how much room remains.

GSupplier Quality Audits

A supplier is only as good as the measurements it can defend. We audit incoming quality systems, review gauge control on the supplier floor, and report the gaps that put delivered conformance at risk before a nonconformance reaches the assembly line.

KMetrology Training and Support

Good measurement habits are taught, not assumed. We train operators and inspectors on instrument handling, reading technique, uncertainty and record discipline, then support the team while those habits take hold on the production floor.

Why manufacturers keep a bench like this

A drawing is a promise and a measurement is the proof. When a product leaves the line, the only thing that travels with it is the record. Inspxt LLC exists to make that record complete, honest and traceable. Our working method treats every number as a claim that has to survive an audit, a customer review or a warranty investigation years later. That is why we document the instrument, the environment and the operator alongside the reading itself.

Dimensional verification is the heart of the work. A shaft diameter, a bore location, a flatness callout and a hole pattern all reduce to the same question: is the feature inside the zone the designer intended. We answer that question with calibrated equipment and a plan that repeats the same way on the first part and the ten thousandth. Our gauge programs cover the instruments on the floor and the masters behind them, so a drifting tool is caught before it moves a production run out of tolerance.

Acceptance testing closes the loop. Once a unit is built we run the procedure that decides release, and we record the environment, the limits and the outcome in a form the client keeps. First article inspection then becomes the process argument, while supplier quality audits keep incoming material honest. Metrology training holds it together, because a calibrated gauge in untrained hands still produces a wrong answer. Taken together, the six services let a manufacturer defend every claim it makes about a part.

Granite plate, paper gasket slips

The surface plate is the reference every other measurement leans on. We keep gasket slips under the work so a hot part never sits directly on the stone, and we recheck the plate itself on a fixed interval so the flatness we assume is the flatness we hold.

Gauge block case, hinged lid

Gauge blocks are handled as a system. The case travels closed, the lid comes off only at the bench, and each block returns to its pocket after wringing. That discipline is what keeps a stacked dimension trustworthy to the last decimal place.

Feeler stock and brass slivers

A feeler gauge is a simple tool that answers a simple question: does this gap pass. We keep the leaves clean, unbent and sorted, because a curled leaf reads a gap that is not there and a contaminated leaf reads a gap that is.

Dial indicators and bezels

Indicators live in the case that protects them. We zero the bezel against the master, watch the needle for repeatability, and replace a stem that has lost its spring before it can bias a run of measurements. A needle that sticks is a wrong answer waiting to be recorded.

How an engagement runs

From first call to signed record

We start by understanding the part, the process and the risk. Then we propose the inspection approach, agree the accept criteria, perform the work on calibrated equipment, and deliver a record that can be read by anyone who follows. Along the way, every one of our six services can plug into an existing quality system rather than replacing it.
